Reactive Dog Group Classes
I know first-hand what it’s like to have an “aggressive” or “reactive” dog.
It’s frustrating.
It’s embarrassing.
It’s expensive.
You want to help your dog, but you’re not quite sure how.
You’ve researched and researched, but you don’t know which trainer’s advice to listen to it.
You can’t take your dog to traditional group training classes because they’ll cause a scene and everyone stares at you.
Dog trainers want to force you into private sessions and then charge a crap-ton of money because it’s a “behavior case”.
You start to feel so defeated…
You know your dog is a good dog.
You just want everyone to see the side of your dog that YOU get to see every day.
Before becoming a Certified Dog Trainer, I was in the exact same situation that you are in right now.
I was spending thousands of dollars on behavior modification training.
I felt alienated and alone.
That’s why I created a group class specifically for reactive dogs.
And the best part?
It’s a virtual class done via Zoom to ensure that everyone is in a calm and safe environment.
Empowered Dog Moms
Dog’s have a brain that is very similar to the human brain.
I’ve created a simple breakdown of how your dog’s brain works. You will learn exactly what your dog is thinking, why it does the things it does, how to speak their language, and how to change their unwanted behaviors for good. We also focus on understanding dog body language as it is crucial to understanding what your dog is trying to communicate with you.
Long gone are the days of your dog looking at you like you’re stupid while you tell it to “sit” 400 times. You will have more control of your dogs’ learning which means more confidence and pride in their behavior.
Tailored Training Solutions
When it comes to dog training, most dog owners get overwhelmed with detailed training schedules, walk schedules, and enrichment activities. When they get bogged down with the planning side of things, they end up giving up completely.
The foundation of my ENTIRE business here is: Common Scents.
I will help you simplify and find training games and activities that work best for you and your lifestyle.
That way, training is an enjoyable experience for you AND your dog and not just another item on your already massive to-do list. You will enjoy working with your dog which will lead to more consistency and changed behavior.
Community
After those two, the last thing we would work on is building your community.
The biggest problem I see is that our dog's reactivity can make us feel like we are the only one’s struggling with it. So what ends up happening is that we isolate ourselves and our dogs away from other people and the issues we both need to work on. Our Reactive Dog Group Classes include a Facebook community trusted dog moms who are bravely tackling the same issues you are.
Ultimately, what this means for you is you will feel seen, heard, and understood.
You will have a community of other dog moms rallying around you instead of judging you.
